Mathieu Cousineau – Chartered Real Estate Broker AEO
I have been immersed in the real estate industry from a very young age, coming from a family that has long been actively involved in the business. In fact, even before earning my degree in Business Administration, I had already become a licensed real estate broker.
My career began in 2002, and for the next 11 years, I worked as a real estate broker with one of Quebec's largest real estate agencies, Groupe Sutton-Synergie Inc. I later earned the designation of Chartered Real Estate Broker AEO and served as the group's Vice President and General Manager for nearly six years, from 2013 to 2019. More recently, I also held the position of Vice President of Professional Practices at Quebec's real estate self-regulatory organization, the OACIQ.
In 2015, I chose to become even more involved in the industry by joining the Board of Directors of the Montreal Real Estate Board, and in 2017, I was elected Chairman of the Board. I also played a key role in the creation of the Professional Association of Real Estate Brokers of Quebec (APCIQ). In addition, I served as Chairman of the Board of the Quebec Real Estate College (CIQ) for more than three years. Most recently, in April 2021, I was appointed Chairman of the Board of Centris.
Today, after all these professional experiences, my determination and motivation are stronger than ever. I am truly passionate about this profession and now devote myself entirely to what I consider the greatest career in the world: real estate brokerage.
